Global Outdoor Travel Kimberley and Cranbrook BC

GOT Horses?  We do!  With the combination of our fantastic horses, fun, knowledgeable, personable guides and wranglers, in small or large groups, and the stunning Purcell mountain scenery, what more can one ask for?  Our guests have a passion for horses, love nature, and have an adventurous side.  Horseback riding in the mountains awakens one’s senses.  It is freeing and invigorating.  With it brings the excitement of crossing pristine rivers, meandering through old growth forests and river bottoms, crossing avalanche slide meadows; just riding in the mountains and doing it with a strong horse partner beneath you.  We offer a number of horseback adventure options from 2 hour rides to multi day pack trips.

“Giddy Up!”
Our most popular trail ride.
A two hour ride along the St. Mary River and return to our lodge.  The Giddy Up is enjoyed by single riders, couples, pals, families, and is often a group ride for birthday parties, family reunions, wedding parties, and corporate escapes.

“Hot Springs Trail”
A full mountain day of trail riding.
Three hours in the saddle gets you into the headwaters of the St. Mary River and access to the amazing Dewar Creek Hot Springs.  Enjoy a pack horse picnic in Bugle Basin and then a relaxing soak in the springs.

“Hot Springs Overnighter”
Backcountry serenity.
Same trail ride as above, but instead of returning the same day, spend a night at our Hot Springs camp.  Camp fire cocktails, mountain cuisine, and your own personal cabin.  An evening and morning soak in the springs and a relaxing ride out.

“Wilderness Mountain Pack Trip”
The real deal.
A three to five day trail ride that will immerse you in wild country rarely visited by anyone but our guides and horses.  High mountain home to grizzly bears, black bears, mountain goats, elk, mule deer, wolves, and eagles.  Your endurance will be tested and your breath will be taken away!

GOT Snow?  We do!  Purcell mountain powder and one of our cabins sets you up for a stellar winter adventure.  This is not a guided trip.  It is blazing your own trail.  Just that easy – rent a cabin, then ride, ski, snowshoe, dog sled in and out from there.  Our lodge and cabins are located in ideal locations for back country snowmobiling, ski touring, cross country skiing, and snow shoeing.   The Purcells supply the snow, we supply the cabins, you supply the fun!
