Kimberley Alpine Resort - Spectacular views overlooking the town of Kimberley and the Rockies. Alpine mountain riding only five minutes from downtown Kimberley.
Kimberley Alpine Resort - Ride our "View the Rockies" and finish with a three course cowboy supper at the Buckhorn & Main Eatery located in The Trickle Creek Lodge.
Kimberley Alpine Resort - A gorgeous ride up through the scenic back runs and bowls of the ski resort into the alpine on Northstar Mountain. Once on top, enjoy lunch prepared by the Buckhorn & Main Mountain Eatery. Then "lean back" for the ride down the front of the mountain with epic views of Kimberley and the Rockies.
Kimberley Alpine Resort - Depart afternoon for a 3-4 hour pack trip up Northstar Mountain through timber, alpine meadows, and black diamond ski runs. Arrive evening for campfire cocktails and a scrumptious mountain top meal. After sunset, stargaze and take in the lights of Kimberley far below, then retire to your tent to mountain breeze lullabys. Morning brings the amazing sunrise over the Rockies, cowboy breakfast, and ride back down to civilization.
Kimberley Alpine Resort - This ride is for those maybe not ready for a full two hours in the saddle. Or, if you are limited on time but need a mountain horse fix, this is a great escape on the ski hill with stellar views and challenging terrain.
St Mary River - Our most popular ride. A two hour ride in the headwaters of the St Mary River. Old growth forests, river crossings and challenging mountain terrain. "This ain't your momma's trail ride!" (currently unavailable due wildfire road closure)
Fort Steele Area - Super fun horseback tour through grassland meadows, fir forests, along a gorgeous mountain lake, with stunning views from rocky vistas. (48 hour advance booking and group minimum of 4)
St Mary River - Three hours in the saddle gets you to the headwaters of the St Mary River and access to the amazing Dewar Creek Hot Springs. Enjoy a pack horse picnic in Bugle Basin and a relaxing soak in the springs, then back in the saddle to ride out. This is a full day adventure with the most beautiful scenery. (available Jul/Aug/Sept)
St Mary River - Wilderness, backcountry serenity. Same ride as above, but instead of returning the same day, spend a night at our Hot Springs Camp. Campfire cocktails, mountain cuisine, and your own personal cabin. An evening and morning soak in the springs and a relaxing ride out. (available Jul/Aug/Sept)
Purcell Wilderness Conservancy - The real deal! A three to five day ride that will immerse you in wild country rarely visited by anyone but our guides and horses. High mountain home to eagles, mountain goats, elk, mule deer, wolves, black and grizzly bears. (available Jul/Aug/Sept)
