Our Horses

Our horses truly are awesome.  They capture your heart in many different ways and our riders fall in love with them.  Our repeat clients ask for the same one to ride time and time again.  The rider just gets that connection and there is always a “take away” that will be remembered.  Our horses have fantastic personalities and are very willing.  They are very comfortable on the trails, know their jobs and are willing partners.  An apple and some friendly pats and scratches go a long way and are well received.

We western saddle and tack only.  We ride western!  We speak to the horses with “Yee Haws” not “Tally Ho’s.”  If you have only ridden English in the past, well don't worry, the transition is easy and you will fall in love with the western way.

Your guide/wrangler will instruct you in the mountain way of riding and teach you the proper cues for your horse.  The guides will ensure that you are matched with the right horse.  They are experienced horse people.  They have a love for the horses, mountains, and trails and are experienced and trained to make your ride enjoyable and safe.
